3 weeks til SMM 2014 Hamburg

Here we go again! SMM is almost upon us and it only seems like yesterday we were here, but, that was 2 years ago…

This time around, WR’s Hamburg team will include some new faces. Brian Kraut will be representing our Jacksonville Office and Commercial Maritime Division. Brian will be tasked with dealing with all things navigation and communication. Our rapid expansion in this arena includes having localised support technicians in several strategic US locations. These regional support centres have the capability to repair, install, or survey almost anything on your navigation bridge. Our authorised dealerships include Furuno, Raytheon, JRC, Transas, Simrad, Cobham and many other premier manufacturers. Brian has extensive knowledge and expertise in this area and will be available to our customers; he is responsible for our Commercial Maritime projects, which include everything from simple radar install up to full design, build, install and commissioning of integrated bridges.

Along with Brian will be Amanda Milan. Amanda is an experienced Project Manager in the Emsys Product Support Team and will be in Hamburg to provide additional technical support to our existing customers and new prospects. Amanda has successfully run multi-million Dollar Emsys projects and will be available to discuss our newest product, Emsys-iS.

Emsys-iS is designed as the latest variant of WR’s laser Based emissions monitoring range. Specifically designed for the Scrubber market, this offering should be attractive to both the scrubber OEM’s and shipowners alike. It’s small, powerful, simple to install and very cost-effective per measurement point. We think it’s a winner and SMM will be our formal launch into the market. Our team will be on stand and ready to answer your questions.

In addition to the above, WR’s President, Dave Edwards and I will be in attendance.

Please drop by our stand in Hall A1.301; we have lots of exciting news to tell you!
