Documentation and Training for Government
Our documentation team of technical writers, graphics artists, drafters, and word processors work with subject matter experts to develop, validate, review, and edit technical documentation for mission-critical, high reliability electronic systems. Systems supported include navigation systems, monitoring systems, speed sensors, and interior communications. Using best practices and military standards and working through the Navy’s Technical Manual Maintenance Activity (TMMA) as designated by the Naval Systems Data Support Activity (NSDSA), we produce paper and electronic technical manuals using MS Word, SGML, XML, and HTML in accordance with DOD Logistics Data Policy. We format new data and convert legacy data for inclusion in Content Management Systems for shared reuse and repurposing.
Our training specialists design and implement training curricula and provide classroom and on-the-job training, and training-related support to the fleet and other government personnel to meet shipboard and shore-based requirements around the world. We develop maintenance courses for electronics and computer-based systems, conduct trainer site surveys, develop trainer installation plans and change instructions, and install Technical Training Equipment (TTE) at training sites. We develop Engineering Facility Reports (EFRs). Our experience includes initiation of Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) requests for systems/equipment. We also develop and revise Navy Training System Plans (NTSPs).
We develop just-in-time training tools, such as web-based procedural checklists that use flowcharting and graphics to guide the student, operator, or maintainer through a process, providing targeted guidance for chronic problems. This tool has proven to be particularly useful in troubleshooting.
In support of customers such as SPAWAR and NAVSEA, we offer a team of program assistants, highly skilled in MS Office products, who are eager to assist in our customers’ success by providing documentation and administrative support at the customer site or from our facilities. Products and services include white papers, briefings, presentations, and conference logistics.
