Engineering and Science has been able to leverage our engineering research and design technical expertise to support commercial maritime applications. Our most recent example is the ground up development of a Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS) to support national and international environmental regulations for the maritime community. Our mechanical, system, electrical, and software design team was able to rapidly develop a second generation, laser technology, patent pending solution for the monitoring of marine engine exhaust gas from multiple stacks using QCL and a LED technology. Our Emissions Monitoring System has been Type Approved by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and has also received the Med (Wheel mark) approval.
