WRSystems'
technical writers, engineers, technicians, drafters, 3-D animators,
systems analysts and word processors work as a team to develop, validate,
review and edit documentation. Accurate operation, maintenance, and
procedural documentation and illustration are necessary to ensure
the proper use and maintenance of valuable and sensitive equipment
as well as the optimal understanding of processes and procedures.
We conduct thorough discussions with customers to define the requirements.
Our technical writers, together with subject matter experts, perform
every procedure, step-by-step, to be documented or validated. Once
the procedures and/or equipment to be documented have been thoroughly
tested and compared with existing information, the drafting process
begins. Our technical writers create a first draft of the documentation
or write up discrepancies discovered during the testing phase. Our
CAD personnel create or modify equipment or process drawings. .jpg)
Our quality assurance process consists of in-house technical, grammatical
and formatting reviews according to a QC validation plan, as well
as in-process reviews with the customer.
Our engineers, technicians and systems analysts perform as Subject
Matter Experts as they review and validate documentation for technical
accuracy and completeness. Our technical writers perform a review
for compliance with project standards and customer requirements regarding
format, layout, and content, and check consistency, presentation,
grammar, punctuation and spelling. QC records document the performance
of these reviews. Technical drawings are also carefully edited and
checked for technical accuracy as well as legibility and clarity.
They are compared with earlier drawings and edits, if applicable,
as well as validated with the actual equipment or process being represented.
We can SGML- or HTML-tag the documentation, and can link electronic
manuals to computer-based training packages to create interactive
courseware.
WRSystems uses military- and industry-standard
guidelines and software as required, and always follows established
quality assurance procedures to ensure accurate and complete documentation.
