Quality Management System (QMS)

has implemented an integrated Quality Management System (QMS)
based on the ISO 9001:2000 quality system model. Defined and controlled
core processes, skilled and qualified personnel, and a focus on
customer satisfaction have enabled
WRSystems
to achieve excellence in performance and provide consistently
high-quality products and services.
As documented in our Quality Policy, we recognize the importance
of meeting customer requirements, on time and within budget, exceeding
customer expectations, having skilled and experienced employees,
and the continuous improvement of our QMS.
Our systematic approach to process management ensures that our
customers' needs are understood and met. Our QMS framework ensures
that processes are performed in a well-defined and controlled
environment and emphasizes the proactive focus on Quality Assurance
(QA) and defect prevention, rather than on Quality Control (QC)
and defect detection. We build quality into our product and service
life cycle from the very beginning. Our organization's key processes
are defined and controlled through our documented procedures and
work instructions.
Project Management
Our formalized and documented project management processes ensure
that all projects are performed consistently, with a focus on
quality and customer satisfaction. Many of our Project Managers hold the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Internal Quality Audits
Our corporate QA function performs regular internal audits of
projects and processes to verify that activities are being performed
consistently and in compliance with established and documented
processes, procedures, and plans. Results of internal audits are
input to Management Reviews by top management.
Performance Evaluations and Assessments
Performance evaluations and assessments from government customers,
and various other forms of feedback, including Customer Satisfaction
Surveys, are actively solicited, collected, and analyzed by WRSystems
for continual improvement.
WRSystems documents the QMS
in its Quality Manual which is distributed to all employees and
is posted on the company intranet.
SEI CMMI-SE/SW and ISO 9001:2000
In addition to its ISO 9001:2000-compliant processes, WRSystems
incorporates many CMMI-SE/SW practices into its software and systems engineering processes with defined and documented procedures belonging to the WRSystems Quality Management System (QMS). Continual oversight by Management and Quality Assurance personnel ensures that every
project maintains process compliance and high standards
of quality.
In addition, WRSystems cross-references its ISO 9001:2000-compliant
QMS processes to the Process Areas (PA) and practices of the CMMI-SE/SW.
Our in-house quality specialists have the expertise and experience to provide support and guidance for our customers' CMMI and ISO 9001:2000 initiatives.
TQM
Total Quality Management (TQM) is
a set of guiding principles that emphasizes the involvement of
all employees to bring about the total satisfaction of our customers
while promoting the ongoing improvement of the organization. At
WRSystems, TQM is not perceived
as an independent process, but is practiced on an ongoing basis
as an integral and complementary component of all our policies
and procedures.
